Saudi Family Visit Visa Documents: Prepare PDFs for Your Application

Sources checked: 2026-10-27

Start with the document checklist for your exact application, not a generic list from social media. This guide explains how to organise and check the files you are asked to provide. It does not establish visa eligibility or claim that every family visit applicant needs bank statements.

Separate the resident's request from the visitor's application

MOFA's Family Visit Request page describes a resident requesting a visit for first-degree relatives and directs applicants to the visa services platform. It also describes authentication through the employer or Chamber of Commerce.

That public page is not a complete attachment checklist for every visitor's later application. Confirm the current checklist for the applicant, application stage and receiving office before preparing or paying to process files.

Make a file checklist from the actual instructions

For each requested attachment, note the document name, whose document it is, accepted format, maximum file size and whether pages must be uploaded together or separately.

  • Keep the original files in a separate folder and work on copies.
  • If a passport copy is requested, include exactly the pages specified, with all page edges and text visible.
  • If a relationship document or translation is requested, follow the authority's translation and authentication instructions; merging files does not certify them.
  • Use simple file names such as visitor-1-document.pdf rather than putting passport or account numbers in file names.

If bank statements are requested, merge only the required set

We found no universal bank-statement requirement on the MOFA page cited below. Do not treat this preparation example as evidence that statements are mandatory, or assume a fixed number of months.

If your receiving office explicitly asks for statements in one PDF, collect the requested periods from the bank, check that each statement is complete, and arrange them in the requested order. Keep separate upload categories separate.

For ordinary PDF copies that the recipient permits you to combine, open Aalejha's PDF merge tool, add the files in the required order and inspect the result. Check the first and last page of each statement, the total page count and the small-print transaction rows.

Keep digitally signed or certified originals unchanged. Adobe documents editing restrictions on signed PDFs; ask the recipient how to submit these rather than assuming a merged copy preserves signature verification.

Check the final attachment before submission

Compare the merged file size with the limit in the actual upload field. If it is too large and processing is permitted, compress a copy and inspect the smallest text again. There is no single verified PDF limit for all family visit routes.

Open the downloaded file, confirm page order and orientation, and make sure no page is blank or cut off. Never alter names, balances, dates, stamps or other documentary evidence.

Aalejha's file tools are paid processing services, not visa application or approval services. Review the price and result before purchase, and read the privacy policy before uploading sensitive financial or identity documents.

Frequently asked questions

Are bank statements mandatory for every Saudi family visit visa?

The cited MOFA resident-request page does not establish a universal bank-statement requirement. Check the visitor's actual application checklist before collecting or merging statements.

Should I merge all my visa documents into one PDF?

Only if the receiving office requests one combined file. If the portal has separate fields for separate documents, prepare a file for each field.

Does merging make a document authenticated?

No. Merging only combines pages. It does not translate, certify or authenticate documents, and a processed copy must not be assumed to preserve digital signature verification.
